How to play Hoiana Stud Poker

To begin, players place an “Ante” bet to receive five cards face down. The Dealer also receives five cards, with one card turned face up. After reviewing their hand, players may fold and lose the Ante, or continue by placing a “Bet” equal to twice the Ante.

The Dealer then reveals their full hand. To qualify, the Dealer must have at least an Ace and King. If the Dealer qualifies and the player’s hand ranks higher, both Ante and Bet are paid. If the Dealer doesn’t qualify, the Ante pays even money and the Bet is returned.

Poker hands are ranked from highest (Royal Flush) to lowest (five unrelated cards). Players can also place a “Jackpot” wager for the chance to win bonus payouts based on special hand combinations.
